Miata got hit

Driver's side rear suspension damage. Probably fixable, but makes it unlikely that the Saab will get worked on.

Miata is in for fuel and first driver change

25th place when we came in.

Scouring the internet for junkyards

Meanwhile, the Miata is in 36th, and still has over half a tank of gas after over 2 hours on track because of how much yellow flag time there's been.

"At least we're not welding"

Saab is back in the pits again

Bump started it and immediately heard a nasty rattle. Going to pull the valve cover and take a look.

We think the Saab is alive again

Seems to have been a loose battery terminal.

Saab is back in the paddock

It had stalling problems, especially on the first big hill.

Saturday Morning Start

The Saab got 2 penalty laps because we didn't have documentation for what we did, but it didn't seem too unfeasible. The Miata got 0 despite the engine and transmission swap. It's raining pretty steadily, and I forgot to bring a jacket. Teams are filling into the grid now.
